Inter Miami is without a win in three weeks, but the 2024 MLS odds suggest that the Herons will win on April 6 against the Colorado Rapids. Can Inter Miami Win Without Messi?

Inter Miami is 3-2-2 in the 2024 MLS with a score differential of 14-10. They’ve also played three games of the CONCACAF Champions Cup since the start of the year, winning one, drawing one, and losing one game.

What’s worrying for the boys from Florida is that they haven’t won a game since March 15. That’s when they defeated DC United 3-1 on the road. The most interesting fact about this game is that it’s the only time Inter Miami won a game in 2024 when Lionel Messi wasn’t around.

He missed that game, as well as four other matches, three of which his team lost and one which finished in a tie. Messi will probably miss the Inter Miami vs. Colorado Rapids game on April 6, but the Herons remain favorites to win.

Colorado Rapids Playing Well in 2024

Last season, the Colorado Rapids finished at the bottom of the Western Conference table with a 5-12-17 record, which accounts for 27 points only. In 2024, however, they’ve been doing much better. Six rounds have passed, and they are 2-2-2 with a score differential of 8-10.

In their most recent game, the Rapids defeated Los Angeles FC, which is the team that won the MLS Cup two years ago. The final score was 3-2, with LAFC having a lead two times in the game. In fact, the Rapids were 2-1 down until the 83rd minute when Djordje Mihajlovic scored the equalizer. Just seven minutes later, the same player made it 3-2 for Colorado.

The USMNT midfielder had a fabulous game, making an assist in addition to scoring two goals. He and his colleagues from the middle of the field have been great this season, which could mean a lot in the Inter Miami vs. Colorado Rapids game, especially if Messi misses out.

Inter Miami vs. Colorado Rapids Prediction

Our prediction is that we’ll see a lot of goals in this game. The Colorado Rapids will score, we’re sure of that, and Inter Miami should be able to fight back. With Luis Suarez, Robert Taylor, and others, the Herons should score a goal or two on Saturday.

Still, we can’t say we’re confident Inter Miami will score enough goals to get a win. Instead, a tie looks like the most probable outcome.

Pick: Inter Miami vs. Colorado Rapids – Draw; Over 3.5 Goals
