GeoComply Supplies Sightline with ID Verification Solutions

Leading fintech company Sightline has formed an exclusive partnership with GeoComply, a compliance and anti-fraud tech solutions leader. Under the deal, the two parties will bolster the security and efficiency of digital transactions in regulated gaming.

As per the deal, GeoComply will integrate its cutting-edge IDComply identity verification solution and compliance-grade geolocation tools into Sightline’s comprehensive suite of digital payment solutions for land-based and online operators.

IDComply was developed by GeoComply as an answer to the growing demand for an integrated solution that addresses the iGaming industry’s compliance needs. Thanks to the company’s ID and Geolocation checks, Sightline will be able to verify digital transactions and make sure that they comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and Office of Foreign Asset Controls requirements.

Under the deal, Sightline will also reinforce its know-your-customer and anti-money laundering protocols in order to prevent gambling-related fraud and account theft.

According to the announcement, IDComply and GeoComply Core will be integrated into Sightline within several months. The latter company will leverage the solutions to swiftly authenticate customer identities and address the verification challenges in stricter markets such as Nevada.

The Deal Expands a Long-Term Relationship

Sightline’s senior vice president of business development, Rose Zwirn, commented on the deal, highlighting the importance of safe payments and reliable ID verification to the regulated iGaming industry. According to Zwirn, the implementation of GeoComply’s tools across Sightline’s payment solution will allow her team to streamline its ID validation capabilities and bolster compliance with the ever-shifting regulatory landscape.

Our vision is to create an omnichannel customer experience where patrons can seamlessly enroll, fund, and play their game of choice in under 180 seconds, putting gaming more in line with payments technologies in areas like retail and ecommerce.

Our goal is to provide digital trust in every online transaction while opening the funnel for legitimate players and stop fraudsters from entering the digital gaming ecosystem. Working with best-in-class partners like Sightline gets us closer to that goal.
