FanDuel has reinforced its senior leadership team with a new internal promotion, naming the experienced Andrew Gradwell as its new senior vice president of product. In this position, he will be tasked with leveraging his expertise to oversee the companyโs products.
Gradwell is no stranger to FanDuel. He joined the company back in December 2020, first serving as vice president of product. Prior to that, he had a short stint as the program lead of casino transformation at FanDuelโs parent company, Flutter Entertainment.
Before that, Gradwell spent over 7 years at Sky Betting & Gaming, another Flutter subsidiary. He became a part of the Sky Betting & Gaming team in 2013, first serving as the companyโs casino product and platform manager. After two years and a half in the position, Gradwell was promoted to head of product and, in 2018, became director of product, UX design and research.
Prior to joining the Flutter family, Gradwell also held a number of product and business-related positions at OpenBet, a world-class sports betting content partner. His earlier career also includes software positions at ITV and Accenture.
In a LinkedIn post, Gradwell commented on his new appointment, expressing his excitement about the new position at FanDuel. He said that he feels privileged to have been designated as the operatorโs new senior vice president of product and thanked everyone who has supported him over the past few years.

FanDuel Will Replace GambetDC as Washington DCโs Exclusive Sportsbook
Speaking of FanDuel, the company is set to debut as the exclusive sportsbook operator in Washington DC later this month. The decision came after the failure of GambetDC to gain traction and channel local bettors toward the stateโs only legal platform.
As one of the big names in gaming and betting, FanDuel is expected to revitalize the wagering sector in the District of Columbia and trigger fresh economic opportunities.
In the meantime, Flutter, FanDuelโs parent company, just named Cheryl Bosi as its new chief people officer for the United Kingdom and Ireland. In this position, the appointee will leverage years of corporate and HR experience to support the companyโs team.
