FairPlay Sports Media Bolsters Strategic Vision with Two New Executives

FairPlay Sports Media (FPSM) has strengthened its senior leadership team by appointing two new executives to its C-suite. Niall Dore, former head of Betfair, joins as chief financial officer (CFO), while Kelly Brooks, founder of Quarter4, assumes the role of chief product officer. Both new hires possess considerable industry experience and should significantly contribute to the efficiency of their respective divisions.

Dore’s Financial Acumen Will Be Invaluable

Niall Dore, FPSM’s new CFO, brings extensive experience to the company, having served as CFO at Findmypast since August 2019. Before this, he spent over seven years at Betfair, holding various finance roles, including finance director and interim CFO. Dore’s appointment marks a significant addition to FPSM’s finance division, with interim CFO Jack Parnell returning to his post as global commercial finance director.

Dore was excited to join Fair Play, pledging to fully utilize his gaming and technology business experience to facilitate the company’s strategy. The knowledge he accumulated during his years with Betfair should be invaluable, giving him an intimate understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the gambling market.

FairPlay is perfectly placed to harness the combined power of its various brands into more than the sum of their individual parts.

The new CFO will aim to recreate his history of success. His input enabled four successful exits, helping scale large and SME businesses. Dore’s extensive experience in diverse industries honed his leadership skills as he oversaw successful teams and executed different commercial models, navigating complex environments and requirements.

Brooks Remains at the Forefront of Innovation

The other new addition to FPSM’s leadership team is Kelly Brooks, the founder and former CEO of Quarter4. FPSM acquired Quarter4, an AI-powered business, in January, and Brooks will now leverage her AI expertise and transformation experience to enhance FairPlay’s BetTech capabilities. She joins the company as chief product officer, tasked with driving Quarter4’s success within the broader FPSM organization.

Commenting on the new appointments, FairPlay Sports Media Group CEO Stuart Simms welcomed the additions to the team, noting they would be invaluable in executing the company’s ambitious plans. Their expertise should help FPSM secure new strategic partnerships within the sportsbook, media, and publishing spaces, delivering lasting success.

We’re in a unique position to deliver technical solutions and product enhancements that can make a real difference in the global betting space.

Onboarding Niall Dore and Kelly Brooks underscores the FPSM’s dedication to driving innovation and achieving its strategic objectives in the sports betting industry. With a wealth of experience and expertise, they are well-positioned to contribute to the company’s continued growth. FPSM’s focus on attracting leading talent should pay off, helping it excel despite rising challenges.
